Welcome to Surr Computing. By accessing and using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). These Terms govern your use of our data storage, processing, and user management services, specifically regarding the storage and handling of SMS numbers, credit card numbers, and other user data.

Definitions

• "User Data" refers to any personal information provided by the user to Surr Computing, including but not limited to contact information, SMS numbers, and transaction details.
• "Sensitive Data" refers to specific types of User Data such as SMS numbers and credit card numbers that require enhanced security measures.
• "Third Parties" are any entities or individuals outside of Surr Computing that may interact with or have access to data, provided such sharing is explicitly authorized by the end user.

Data Storage and Handling

Surr Computing securely stores SMS numbers received as part of our communication and notification services. We employ strict access controls and encryption technologies to protect this data while in transit and at rest. Access to SMS numbers is limited solely to authorized personnel involved in the provision of secure communication services.

Credit card numbers are handled as Sensitive Data and are subject to rigorous security protocols, including industry-standard encryption, tokenization, and limited retention schedules. Surr Computing does not retain credit card numbers longer than necessary for the purposes of transaction processing unless explicitly required by law or authorized by the user.

All other User Data provided by our users is stored in secure systems and is managed under strict policies to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability. Data is processed only for the purposes explicitly indicated by the user when providing such information.

Data Sharing

• Data may be shared with third-party service providers or partners only when explicitly directed by you, the end user.
• If required to do so by law, regulation, or legal process, Surr Computing will provide the requested data while ensuring that any such disclosure is limited strictly to what is necessary for compliance.
• In cases where third-party partners are engaged to help deliver our services (for example, payment processing), such partners are contractually obligated to maintain the confidentiality and security of your Sensitive Data.

Data Deletion

You have the right to request that Surr Computing delete your User Data, including SMS numbers and credit card numbers. Upon receipt of a deletion request, and subject to any applicable legal or regulatory obligations to retain certain information, Surr Computing will permanently delete your data from our active systems within a reasonable time frame. Please note that data may remain in archived backups for a limited period before being permanently purged.

Security Measures

Surr Computing implements a variety of security measures to safeguard your data, including encryption for data in transit and at rest, access controls and authentication mechanisms, regular security audits and compliance checks, and employee training on data security best practices.

While every precaution is taken to protect your Sensitive Data, no security measure is infallible. Users acknowledge that they rely on their own antivirus and security measures in addition to our security protocols.

Amendments to the Terms

Surr Computing reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to users in a reasonable manner either through our website or direct notification. Continued use of our services after modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Surr Computing operates. Any disputes arising under or related in any way to these Terms shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of that jurisdiction.
